Job summary

Adullam Homes Housing Association is seeking a Concierge for weekend cover (26 hours per week) to provide housing-related support and maintain a safe, welcoming site outside core hours. The role involves handling incidents, safeguarding, and ensuring building safety for residents in supported accommodation.

You will be the visible presence out of hours, carrying out health and safety duties and escalating concerns per policy, with DBS checks and UK work rights required.

Qualifications

• Awareness of the escalation of concern process
• Enhanced DBS check
• Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship)
• Robust references and satisfactory pre-employment checks

Responsibilities

• Act as point of contact for housing-related support outside core hours
• Manage incidents and emergencies during unsociable hours
• Maintain a site presence out of hours in supported accommodation
• Ensure the safety and security of the building and tenants, residents and service users
• Safeguard service users out of hours, following the escalation of concern process
• Report concerns to relevant agencies
• Record information on systems and in staff communication books
• Maintain health and safety of the property out of hours, report building safety concerns and repairs
• Contribute to the Association's values, culture and ethos
