Active Assistance in Maidenhead is seeking a part-time weekend Children’s Support Worker to help care for an 8-year-old girl with complex needs. You will support play, therapy activities and daily routines in the family home, with a flexible schedule that includes weekend shifts and potential weekday coverage.

The role emphasizes a warm, patient, and proactive approach to engagement, with training and ongoing support from a Care Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for children with complex needs.
• Ability to engage a non-verbal child using alternative communication methods.
• Adaptable, patient and enthusiastic with a Can-Do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support the child with play, therapy and general care.
• Assist with daily routines and mobility as needed.
• Follow care plan provided by the family and care manager.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure consistency.
