Job summary

Compass Group UK is seeking an ambitious Chef to join DINE on a part-time basis (10 hours per week) in Manchester. You'll prepare and serve high-quality food, support menu changes, and help deliver exceptional service to clients and customers.

Key requirements include City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent and a Food Hygiene certificate; previous supervisory experience and flexible weekend availability are desirable.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Food Hygiene certificate.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.
• Flexible approach to working hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve food services.
• Listen to customer feedback to drive improvements.
• Support creation of new menus and concepts.
• Represent DINE and uphold brand image.
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens stocked.
• Oversee kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene.
• Comply with Food Handling and Hygiene regulations.
