Job summary

Compass Group UK&I in Oldham is seeking a part-time Chef to prepare and serve high-quality food across 14Forty venues. This 12-hour-per-week role focuses on consistency, client satisfaction, and brand standards.

The ideal candidate holds City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 (or NVQ equivalent), has kitchen supervision experience, and a Food Hygiene certificate. A flexible approach to working is essential to thrive in a busy catering environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve our food services.
• Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts.
• Representing 14Forty and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
