Job summary

Compass Group UK&I Healthcare is seeking a part-time Chef to deliver exceptional food experiences in a healthcare setting, approx. 14 hours per week with weekends.

You will prepare high-quality meals, implement menu changes, and contribute to new concepts while ensuring top-notch hygiene and customer service. The ideal candidate holds City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, has supervisory experience, and a valid Food Hygiene certificate.

• Hold City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Food Hygiene certificate.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve our food services.
• Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts.
• Representing Healthcare and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
