The Role

We are looking for a Web Designer to join our team. You will play a central role in shaping user‑centred, conversion‑focused websites for well‑known organisations. Working closely with strategists, developers, and project managers, you will translate complex requirements into clear, elegant, and effective digital experiences.

This role suits a designer who combines strong visual craft with a structured, problem‑solving mindset and a solid understanding of how design supports business outcomes.

What You’ll Do
  • Design high‑quality website interfaces for enterprise projects
  • Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into intuitive designs
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and high‑fidelity visual designs
  • Apply and evolve design systems to ensure consistency and scalability
  • Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately
  • Contribute to UX thinking, accessibility, and usability best practice
  • Present and justify design decisions clearly to internal teams and clients
  • Iterate designs based on feedback, data, and performance insights
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years’ experience as a web or digital designer, ideally within an agency environment
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating website design, UX thinking, and visual quality
  • Excellent understanding of responsive design and modern web standards
  • Experience designing for WordPress or other CMS‑driven websites
  • Working knowledge of UX principles, accessibility (WCAG), and usability
  • Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g. Figma)
  • Ability to balance creativity with structure, deadlines, and commercial objectives
  • Clear communicator who works well in multidisciplinary teams
Nice to Have
  • Experience designing for education, charity, or professional services sectors
  • Familiarity with CRO principles and performance‑led design
  • Understanding of how design supports SEO and digital marketing
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining design systems
