Job summary

Everpool Recruitment, in partnership with Serco, is recruiting WCA Functional Assessors in Luton. You will assess how health conditions affect work capacity, reviewing medical evidence and producing detailed, evidence-based reports.

The role offers a starting salary of £48,000, rising to £49,000, with a Monday–Friday 9am–5pm structure, no nights or weekends, and hybrid working. Comprehensive paid training, ongoing clinical support, and 25 days leave are provided.

Qualifications

• Full, active and unrestricted NMC or HCPC registration.
• At least 12 months' post-registration UK clinical experience.
• Relevant experience working with adults.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess functional ability through structured assessments.
• Review medical evidence and gather clinical information.
• Produce detailed assessment reports.
• Provide objective clinical information to support the DWP's decision-making process.
