Job summary

Serco Group plc in Lewes is recruiting WCA Functional Assessors on a full-time or part-time basis. The role offers a structured, Monday to Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, and hybrid working combining home and office-based work.

You will review medical evidence, conduct assessments, and produce clear, evidence-based reports to support the DWP. You must be registered with NMC or HCPC and have at least 12 months UK post-registration experience with adults.

Qualifications

• Full, active and unrestricted NMC or HCPC registration.
• At least 12 months' post-registration UK clinical experience.
• Relevant experience working with adults.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing medical evidence and gathering relevant clinical information.
• Conducting structured assessments with individuals experiencing a range of physical and mental health conditions.
• Exploring the functional impact of health conditions on everyday activities and working capability.
• Applying your clinical knowledge and professional judgement to assess functional ability.
• Producing clear, accurate and evidence-based assessment reports.
• Providing objective clinical information to support the DWP's decision-making process.
