Job summary

Serco in Bristol is recruiting WCA Functional Assessors to apply clinical knowledge in a new direction, with a structured week and comprehensive training. You’ll assess how health conditions affect work-related activities and produce evidence-based reports.

Hybrid working, Mon–Fri, with full-time and part-time options. Ongoing clinical coaching, development, and a strong support network are included.

Qualifications

• Active NMC or HCPC registration is required.
• At least 12 months post-registration UK clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Review medical evidence and gather relevant clinical information.
• Conduct structured assessments with adults experiencing a range of health conditions.
• Assess how physical and mental health conditions affect functioning and work activities.
• Produce clear, accurate, evidence-based assessment reports.
• Provide objective clinical information to support DWP decision-making.
