Job summary

Serco Group Plc in the United Kingdom is seeking WCA Functional Assessors in Slough to move from hands-on care to a structured, Monday–Friday career. You will use your clinical knowledge and professional judgment to assess work-related capability and to write evidence-based reports.

Qualifications

• Full, active and unrestricted NMC or HCPC registration.
• At least 12 months' post-registration UK clinical experience.
• Relevant experience working with adults.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing medical evidence and gathering relevant clinical information.
• Conducting structured assessments with individuals experiencing a range of physical and mental health conditions.
• Exploring how health conditions affect an individual's functional ability and everyday activities.
• Applying your clinical knowledge and professional judgement to assess work-related capability.
• Producing clear, accurate and evidence-based assessment reports.
• Providing objective clinical information to support the DWP's decision-making process.
