Job summary

Donard Recruitment is seeking a WCA Assessor to join our hybrid-clinic team in the United Kingdom. You will conduct 5-6 Work Capability Assessments per day, covering telephone and face-to-face reviews, and produce concise reports while maintaining an empathetic service.

Qualified nurses, OTs, physiotherapists or paramedics with 2+ years post-qualification and HCPC/NMC registration will thrive here. The role offers £39,500 plus 10% bonus, 25 days holiday, and a pension, with 2–3 clinic days

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.
• 2+ years post-qualification experience.
• Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 5-6 assessments per day including telephone and face-to-face assessments and report writing.
• Spread cases across the day to allow autonomy and timely case conclusion.
• Assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting claimants.

We are now recruiting for hybrid working Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics to make the most of their existing clinical knowledge and take on a new role with a supportive, locally owned assessment provider.

As a WCA Assessor you will be providing unbiased, comprehensive Work Capability Assessments (WCA) whilst ensuring a personalised, inclusive and empathetic service for the service user.

Benefits Include:

• Basic salary £39,500
• + 10% Performance bonus
• Hybrid, Approx 2-3 days in clinic per week

• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9-5pm (37.5 hours per week)

Your New Role:

• As a WCA Assessor, you will conduct 5-6 assessments per day including telephone/face to face assessment and (Apply online only) word report.
• Your cases and appointments will be spread throughout the day allowing you to have greater job autonomy to manage cases to conclusion.
• You will assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual and cognitive impairments.
• You will have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence and team meetings.

Requirements

• Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.
• 2+ years post qualification experience.
• Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
