Job summary

Babcock is recruiting for a Waterfront Multi Skilled Operative - Lift Supervisor based onsite at Faslane near Helensburgh, Argyll and Bute. You will provide multi-skilled support to the Waterfront Department and supervise lifting operations in accordance with LOLER and BS7121 requirements.

Essential experience includes knowledge of crane operations, lifting equipment, and berthing activities. You’ll hold a B category licence and SVQ Level 3 in Lifting Operations; SC clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of LOLER, BS7121 and related regulations.
• Experience operating base Mobile Cranes and EOT cranes.
• Ability to supervise lifting operations safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide MSO support and supervision for lifting operations.
• Supervise safe lifting following lift plans and SOPs.
• Mentor lifting work party members as directed.
• Report incidents and drive safety improvements.
