Babcock is seeking a Waterfront Multi Skilled Operative - Lift Supervisor to oversee lifting operations at HMNB Clyde, near Helensburgh. The role focuses on safe lifting, adherence to LOLER/BS7121 standards, and supervising a lifting crew in line with approved lift plans and Safe System of Work.
The position is full-time and on site at Faslane, with responsibilities including maintenance support for waterfront activities and ensuring KPIs for heavy lifts are met.

We currently have opportunities for a Waterfront Multi Skilled Operative - Lift Supervisor to provide multi skilled support for the Waterfront Department as and when directed. Also provide Infrastructure Operations Lifting Supervisor Support for lifting operations activities in infrastructure Operations Facilities. When providing general MSO support and when acting as Lift Supervisor for lifting operations, they will ensure they carry out their duties in accordance with all current H&S legislation. For their lifting supervisor role, they must adhere to Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulation (LOLER) 1998 and BS:7121 (all volumes).

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
