Job summary

Aqua Tech Recruitment is seeking a skilled Electrician to install, maintain and commission electrical systems across water and wastewater treatment sites. You will work to WIMES standards and BS 7671, performing testing, inspection and certification of new and existing installations.

You will diagnose faults, work on MCCs, motors, control panels, and instrumentation, and contribute to safe, on-time project delivery. A full UK driving licence and relevant qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the water industry.
• ECS/CSCS card required.
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 preferred.
• 18th Edition BS 7671 required.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or recognised apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and commission electrical systems on water and wastewater sites.
• Deliver works to WIMES standards and client specs.
• Test, inspect, and certify installations to BS 7671.
• Diagnose faults and repair MCCs, motors, control panels, and instrumentation.
• Work to project programmes delivering safe, high-quality installations on time.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and permits.
