Job summary

Hydro International is seeking an Electrician to join its UK Wastewater Services team. The role is based on site in Portland and involves installing, commissioning and testing water filtration systems on sewage sites across the United Kingdom.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations, 18th Edition, JIB Gold Card and C&G 2391, with a valid driving license and willingness to travel/overnight stays. A strong team player is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Valid Driving License is required.
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations is required.
• 18th Edition is required.
• JIB Gold Card is required.
• C&G 2391 (inspection & testing) is required.

Responsibilities

• Installing, commissioning, setting up and testing water filtration systems on sewage sites.
• Carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
• Interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces and outdoors on sewage sites.
• Occasionally work in workshops across the country.
• Work as a team with other staff and trades within the business.
