Job summary

Hydro International offers an Electrician role based in Portland, Dorset, onsite. You will install and test water filtration systems, travel across the UK with overnight stays, and work with a team to keep wastewater infrastructure running efficiently.

The position requires NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, 18th Edition, a JIB Gold Card, and City & Guilds 2391. A valid UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence.
• NVQ Level 3 – Electrical Installations.
• 18th Edition qualification.
• JIB Gold Card.
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing).

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage treatment sites.
• Carry out site inspections, fault finding and produce survey reports for quotations.
• Interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces and in all weather conditions.
• Travel across the UK with regular overnight stays.
• Occasionally support engineering workshops across the UK.
• Work collaboratively with other engineers and trades within the business.
