Job summary
Vickerstock is recruiting a Director or Regional Director to lead the Water & Wastewater practice from our Coventry office. This senior role carries ownership of a growing pipeline of Design & Build water projects, with autonomy to shape strategy and growth, and a strong rewards package including performance bonus and profit share.
The successful candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree, chartered status, extensive senior experience in water/wastewater, and a proven track record in winning
Qualifications
- Chartered status and senior leadership experience in water/wastewater are essential.
- Strong track record in winning work and growing client base within water/wastewater.
- Experience delivering Design & Build projects and working with contractors.
- Proven ability to lead engineering teams and shape growth strategy.
- Excellent commercial awareness and ability to own business expansion.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Design & Build water and wastewater project pipeline from Coventry.
- Build and develop relationships with contractors, clients and stakeholders.
- Win new work and convert opportunities into secured projects.
- Shape and deliver growth strategy for the water business.
- Lead bids, proposals and commercial negotiations.
- Provide senior technical and commercial leadership across projects.
- Build, mentor and develop the engineering team.
- Maintain governance, quality and commercial performance.
