Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Associate Director to lead its Water Engineering capability in the UK. The role is based in Birmingham with potential Coventry attendance, offering a salary of £70,000 - £90,000 plus bonus.

You will oversee technical delivery across water infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, develop client relationships and help shape the Water business as it grows. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Strong Water or infrastructure engineering background.
• Experience delivering major infrastructure projects.
• Technical leadership and project delivery experience.
• Comfortable working with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong client-facing skills.
• Commercial awareness and interest in business development.
• Chartered status would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead Water Engineering projects and technical delivery.
• Work across infrastructure and non-infrastructure Water schemes.
• Provide technical leadership in a Design & Build environment.
• Develop key client and contractor relationships.
• Support and develop engineers, including Chartership progression.
• Help grow the Water team and technical capability.
• Develop commercial opportunities and new relationships.
