Our Client seeks a Regional Engineering Manager to lead a portfolio of water and wastewater design-and-build projects from London or Essex. You will set strategic direction, govern delivery, and drive safety, quality and commercial outcomes across dispersed teams, including joint ventures and alliances.

The role requires chartered status or equivalent, a strong delivery mindset, and the ability to influence senior client representatives and stakeholders across multiple locations.

Formación

• Engineering leadership with client, commercial and multi-team delivery experience.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams in water/wastewater design-and-build schemes.
• Delivery-focused leader able to set targets, budgets and motivate teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering management across the framework and set a clear engineering strategy.
• Define the engineering organisation, accountability and responsibilities.
• Produce affordable, client-focused solutions with technical and commercial review.
• Promote innovative solutions and ensure governance and sign-off processes.
• Coordinate with other engineering leads, JV partners and clients.
• Plan resources, workloads and 12-month capacity across regions.
• Provide monthly engineering financial reporting and KPI oversight.
• Establish decision routes, risk ownership and escalation paths.
• Represent engineering at leadership meetings with Anglian Water and external interfaces.
• Ensure design reviews and asset-data requirements are managed via connected platforms.
• Champion technical excellence, lessons learned and continuous improvement.
• Lead across teams, mentor local leaders and strengthen regional reputation.
