Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection in Hertfordshire is recruiting for a Hybrid role as Technical Sales Manager / Business Development Manager for water treatment and process equipment. You will develop existing customers, identify new opportunities and tailor technical solutions to client needs.

The position targets a mix of approximately 70% new business and 30% account management, with scope to progress into senior leadership within five years as part of our succession planning.

Qualifications

• You’ll have a proven track record in developing new business while maintaining existing customer relationships.
• Experience selling engineered products or technical solutions into industrial markets is preferred.
• Understanding technically complex products and recommending the right solution is essential.

Responsibilities

• Sell engineered water treatment and process equipment into industrial markets.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial agreements and manage opportunities through to completion.
• Contribute to future growth through market development, commercial strategy and long-term planning.
