Job summary

Mitie Group plc in Slough is seeking a Mobile Water Technician Level 2 to undertake Legionella maintenance, sampling, and water system care within compliance with ACoP L8, delivering high safety and quality standards.

The role requires prior experience in Compliance Servicing or Water Treatment, on‑site duties, and a full‑time 40‑hour week. DBS check will be completed as part of recruitment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring, or Water Treatment.

Responsibilities

• Complete a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing, and minor plumbing works.
• Carry out routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) L8.
• Maintain customer water logbooks and complete all required documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy.
• Carry out water system cleans and disinfections in line with ACoP L8 and Mitie procedures.
• Test, service, and maintain thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs), along with supporting basic plumbing works where required.
• Carry out closed system on‑site analysis and chemical dosing.
• Complete mains injection works.
• Perform cooling tower cleaning and disinfection activities.

SALARY : £34,000 - £36,000

Required Qualifications
