Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Principal Civil Engineer (Water) to lead major UK water projects. You will work with top water clients to design and deliver water treatment, distribution and related infrastructure, while mentoring engineers and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.

The role offers leadership development, collaboration across the UK and Ireland, and opportunities to influence sustainable water solutions across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering required or equivalent.
• Chartered engineer status preferred; membership of a relevant institution.
• Experience in the water industry; familiarity with Process and MEICA disciplines valued.
• Understanding of environmental issues including net carbon is a plus.
• Ability to develop solutions from need through detailed design and to support and manage project teams.
• Experience in scoping and design within required timescales and budgets; ability to produce and check technical reports.
