Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Principal Civil Engineer to lead water sector projects across the UK. You will partner with top water clients to improve how water is obtained, treated, and distributed for communities.

The role offers leadership within a collaborative, award-winning environment and flexible working arrangements. You will bring a Civil Engineering degree (preferably Chartered) and have experience in the water industry, MEICA, and environmental considerations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered status with a relevant engineering institution preferred.
• Experience in the water industry and MEICA disciplines beneficial.
• Understanding of environmental issues including net carbon preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions from needs to detailed design as part of a team.
• Support and manage project team members.
• Undertake scoping and design within required timescales and budgets.
• Produce and check technical reports.
