Stantec is seeking a Senior Principal Civil Engineer to lead major water projects across the UK and Ireland. You will collaborate with top water clients to improve how water is sourced, treated and distributed for local communities.

You will ideally be Chartered and bring extensive water industry experience, with the ability to mentor teams and drive design from concept to detailed deliverables within budget. Flexible working and nationwide project opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, ideally Chartered and a member of a relevant engineering institution.
• Previous experience in the water industry is preferred; knowledge of Process and MEICA disciplines advantageous.
• Understanding environmental issues including net carbon is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions from need to detailed design as part of a team.
• Support and manage project team members throughout design and delivery.
• Undertake scoping and design within required timescales and budgets; produce and check technical reports.
