Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to lead water sector projects in the UK, partnering with top clients to improve water supply, treatment, and distribution. The role offers leadership development and cross-regional collaboration across the UK and Ireland.

Ideally, you are Chartered, with Civil Engineering expertise, familiarity with water industry processes and MEICA, and an interest in net-zero environmental considerations. Strong mentoring and project leadership are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered status and membership in a relevant engineering institution preferred.
• Experience in the water industry preferred; knowledge of Process and MEICA disciplines advantageous.
• Understanding of environmental issues including net carbon preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions from need to detailed design as part of a team.
• Support and manage project team members.
• Undertake scoping and design within required timescales and budgets.
• Produce and check technical reports.
