Job summary

Anglian Water in Northampton is seeking a Water Recycling Process Operator (Works Technician Process Controller) to maintain and service our treatment processes. The role operates across assets such as tanks, pumps and screens, with a focus on regulatory compliance and energy efficiency.

The position offers a starting salary of £31,756 with progression and standby allowances, plus potential overtime and a company van for business use.

Qualifications

• Experience in a process environment would be advantageous
• Good understanding of Health & Safety
• Must have a Full UK Manual Driving Licence
• Competent with IT systems
• Problem solver with initiative
• Excellent team player and good communication

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain assets including tanks, pumps, screens, blowers, valves, motors, flow meters and more
• Perform preventative and reactive servicing and maintenance such as lubrication
• Carry out process sampling and escalate issues
• Comply with safety policy, procedures and housekeeping
• Minimise energy use while ensuring regulatory compliance
• Work in confined spaces and at height; health checks required
