Job summary

Jobtailor invites applications for a Field Technician role in the United Kingdom to operate and maintain water recycling assets including tanks, pumps, screens, blowers, valves, motors, flow meters and compressors. You will perform preventative and reactive servicing, carry out process sampling, and escalate operational issues.

The role requires a Full UK driving licence, health and safety awareness, and the ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Qualifications

• Experience in Field/Engineering environment is ideal.
• Experience in a process/quality assurance environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water recycling assets, including tanks, pumps, screens, blowers, valves, motors, flow meters, and compressors
• Perform preventative and reactive servicing and maintenance, including lubrication
• Carry out process sampling to ensure systems operate correctly
• Escalate operational issues
• Comply with company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain good housekeeping
• Explore and maintain the lowest possible energy demands without compromising regulatory compliance
• Service and maintain water recycling treatment processes and systems within relevant regulatory compliance
• Work generally Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00, with flexibility on start and finishing times
• Participate in standby and occasional weekend working
