Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate Director/Technical Director to lead our Catchment Science water quality portfolio in the UK. You will drive technical delivery, set project direction, and mentor junior colleagues while developing service scopes for major infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with the Water Quality Service Lead, contribute to business development, and deliver high-quality data-driven reports across a range of challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering water quality projects.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent report writing and communication abilities.
• Track record in leading and winning work.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of water quality projects across catchment science.
• Direct projects including budget, change control and QA.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff with potential for people management.
• Develop and agree scopes of services with clients and teams.
• Generate high-quality bid proposals and innovative client solutions.
• Produce client-facing deliverables with clear data visualization and interpretation.
