Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Project Manager to join the Water Asset Design team in Belfast, leading multidisciplinary delivery from optioning through handover to the client. You will drive project performance and safety across a range of water-sector initiatives.

The role requires strong experience in infrastructure project delivery, P&L ownership, and effective stakeholder management, with a focus on continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering infrastructure projects, ideally in water or related sectors.
• Knowledge of NEC Contracts and contract administration.
• Membership in APM, PMI or MICE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals including scope, resources, programme, and cost estimates (budgets) for delivering the project.
• Own the P&L with revenue delivery, margin and overhead management, budget and forecast determination and attainment, risk and opportunity reviews, cost controls, accounts payable/billing and cash collection.
• Develop project management documentation including PM plans, cost estimates, risk registers, project schedules and stakeholder registers.
• Monitor and control the project schedule, manhours, budgets, forecasts, and expenditure.
• Ensure effective contract management including contract administration and change management.
• Manage work performed by project team members, assuring outputs meet project requirements.
• Manage deliverables, information, and records; communicate project information to team and client.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and promote continuous improvement and lessons learned.
