Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Water Asset Design team, delivering multidisciplinary infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects for water industry clients across the UK. You will oversee planning, execution, and handover, champion quality delivery, and ensure safety and compliance.

You will guide a team of professionals, manage budgets and schedules, and collaborate with clients and suppliers to achieve objectives across major programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering infrastructure projects within water or related sectors.
• Accreditation with NEC Contracts beneficial.
• Memberships: APM, PMI or MICE appreciated.
• Proficiency with project management tools and techniques.
• Strong stakeholder, risk, planning/scheduling and commercial management.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams across optioneering through delivery and handover.
• Manage project proposals, requirements, scope, resources, programme and budgets.
• Own P&L with revenue, margins, overheads, forecasting and cash collection.
• Develop project management plans, schedules, risk registers and stakeholder maps.
• Monitor schedules, manhours, budgets and expenditures; control changes.
• Ensure contract administration and change management are effective.
