Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Project Manager to support a range of Clean Water projects across Yorkshire on an Outside IR35 contract basis. The role focuses on civil engineering and utility schemes with office base near Sheffield and travel across Bradford and West Yorkshire.

You will lead planning to completion, oversee mains replacement and rehabilitation, coordinate service laying and pipeline works, and manage site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders while ensuring health, safety and

Qualifications

Experience managing civil engineering projects within the water or utilities sector.
Knowledge of Clean Water projects including mains replacement and rehabilitation.
Understanding of service laying, slip lining, pipe bursting and directional drilling.
Experience with transfers, relays and pipe testing.
Strong project management, communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Ability to manage contractors, site teams and project resources effectively.
Understanding of health and safety, quality and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

Managing the delivery of Clean Water projects from planning through to completion.
Overseeing replacement mains and rehabilitation schemes.
Co-ordinating service laying, slip lining and pipe bursting works.
Managing directional drilling activities and associated civil engineering works.
Overseeing transfers, relays and pipe testing.
Co-ordinating site teams, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
Monitoring project progress, quality, health and safety and compliance.
Maintaining accurate project records and providing progress updates.
