Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Project Manager to support a range of Clean Water projects across Yorkshire on an Outside IR35 contract basis. The role focuses on civil engineering and utility schemes with office base near Sheffield and travel across Bradford and West Yorkshire.

Qualifications

• Experience managing civil engineering projects within the water or utilities sector.
• Knowledge of Clean Water projects including mains replacement and rehabilitation.
• Understanding of service laying, slip lining, pipe bursting and directional drilling.
• Experience with transfers, relays and pipe testing.
• Strong project management, communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to manage contractors, site teams and project resources effectively.
• Understanding of health and safety, quality and environmental requirements.

Our client, a leading contractor in the water and utilities sector, is seeking a Project Manager to support a range of Clean Water projects across Yorkshire on an Outside IR35 contract basis. The role will involve managing civil engineering and utility schemes, with projects located across Bradford, West Yorkshire and surrounding areas. The ideal location is within reasonable travelling distance of Sheffield, which serves as the office base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the delivery of Clean Water projects from planning through to completion

Job Requirements:

• Experience managing civil engineering projects within the water or utilities sector
• Practical knowledge of Clean Water projects, including mains replacement and rehabilitation
• Understanding of service laying, slip lining, pipe bursting and directional drilling
• Experience with transfers, relays and pipe testing
• Strong project management, communication and stakeholder co-ordination skills
• Ability to manage contractors, site teams and project resources effectively
• Strong understanding of health and safety, quality and environmental requirements
• Experience in Gas, Utilities or Wastewater will also be considered
• Willingness to work across Yorkshire, including Bradford and West Yorkshire
