Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee major water and civil engineering projects across the North West. This permanent role focuses on commercial performance, programme delivery, health and safety, quality and client relationships across multiple sites.

You will lead planning, cost control, procurement, tender handovers and design management, while providing leadership to operational teams and ensuring NEC contract compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing civil engineering or water projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract conditions, NEC contracts and cost control.
• Understanding of CDM regulations and design management.
• Experience with procurement, risk management and commercial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, programming and delivery of civil engineering and water projects across the North West.
• Monitor project costs, resources, forecasts, margins and commercial performance.
• Manage procurement, subcontractor engagement, contract administration and cost plans.
