Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Site Manager to lead clean water projects across Yorkshire on a contract basis. You will manage sites from mobilization to completion, oversee mains replacement and rehabilitation schemes, and coordinate service laying and testing works.

Ideal candidates have site management experience in water or civil, with SSSTS/SMSTS and NRSWA accreditation. Strong safety leadership and stakeholder communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Site Manager experience in clean water or civil engineering.
• Strong knowledge of water infrastructure, mains replacement and rehabilitation.
• Understanding of service laying, testing and pipe work processes.
• Valid SSSTS or SMSTS and NRSWA accreditation required.
• NVQ Level 2 in construction or civil engineering preferred.
• SHEA and Blue Hygiene desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage clean water construction sites from mobilisation to completion.
• Oversee replacement mains and rehabilitation schemes.
• Coordinate service laying, slip lining, bursting and drilling works.
• Supervise site teams, subcontractors and daily activities.
• Ensure works meet safety, quality and project specifications.
• Maintain site records, permits and progress updates.
• Collaborate with project managers and utility providers.
