Job summary

Matchtech seeks a Contract Site Manager with clean water/civil engineering experience to lead site operations across Yorkshire, including the Sheffield area. Mobilise, manage replacement mains, supervise crews and ensure safety and quality on site.

You will coordinate services, manage testing, permits and progress updates, liaise with project managers and utility providers, and drive efficient delivery across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Manager in clean water or civil engineering.
• Strong knowledge of water infrastructure, mains replacement and rehabilitation.
• Understanding of service laying, slip lining, bursting and testing.
• SSSTS or SMSTS and NRSWA qualifications are required.
• NVQ Level 2 in construction or civil engineering is preferred.
• SHEA and Blue Hygiene certifications are desirable.
• Excellent health and safety awareness, communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage clean water construction sites from mobilisation to completion.
• Oversee replacement mains and rehabilitation schemes.
• Coordinate service laying, slip lining, bursting, swage lining, drilling, transfers and relaying.
• Manage pipe testing, inspections and QA activities.
• Supervise site teams, subcontractors and daily activities.
• Ensure safe, efficient delivery in line with project specs.
• Maintain site records, permits, reports and progress updates.
• Work with project managers, utility providers and stakeholders.
