Job summary

Anglian Water Services Ltd is seeking a Water Network Technician to join the Integrated Maintenance, Repair and Development Services team. You will perform planned maintenance and respond to emergencies across the region, using asset maps and tools.

You'll carry out flushing, surveying, leak detections, pressure and flow tests and valve operations while keeping customers informed as the face of Anglian Water. This field role includes a standby rota and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• GCSE level (or equivalent) is required.
• Technical aptitude with engineering or field service experience.
• Experience in water networks, street works or leakage control is desirable.
• Professional, customer-focused communication with the public.
• Willingness to work a 37-hour week with standby and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance and respond to emergencies on the water network.
• Perform flushing, surveying, leak detections, and valve operations.
• Use asset maps and tools to diagnose and fix issues in a timely manner.
• Travel around regions; liaise with customers and keep them informed.
• Be on standby rota and undertake overtime when required.
