Anglian Water Services is seeking a Water Network Technician to maintain the regional water network. You will perform planned maintenance and respond to emergencies, ensuring water is safe and continuously supplied.

You will use map data, perform tests and liaise with customers, travelling across the Bedford/Milton Keynes/Leighton Buzzard area with a company van and full PPE. Training to NRSWA/LTO will be provided.

Competenze

• GCSE level (or equivalent)
• Experience in an engineering industry, ideally providing a front-line service
• Strong technical aptitude
• Experience of water networks, street works and leakage control (ideally)
• Ability to explain terminology to the public and deliver great customer service
• Proven customer service experience
• Willing to work a 37-hour week with standby rota and overtime as required
• Travel to various locations around the region

Mansioni

• Undertake planned maintenance and respond to emergencies to maintain the water network
• Carry out flushing, surveying, leak detections, pressure and flow tests and valve operations
• Use asset maps, data and tools to resolve both planned and reactive operational problems
• This is a field-based role; you’ll travel with a van and liaise with customers to deliver high levels of service
• Become the face of Anglian Water for many customers and undergo training toward NRSWA accreditation & LTO
