Job summary

Network Plus is recruiting a Water Agent to oversee site-based delivery of infrastructure projects on the clean water network for United Utilities in the North West. You will lead operational teams, coordinate contractors, and ensure work is delivered safely, on time and within budget.

The role requires hands-on supervision of New Connections and Developer Services, strong HSE discipline and excellent communication with clients.

Qualifications

Experience in Utilities sector, ideally clean water.
Knowledge of deep excavations, civils and water-based schemes.
Experience in Street Works and Confined Spaces.
Health & Safety qualification is an advantage.
Awareness of costs and programme management.
Strong team management and communication skills.
Proficient IT skills; MS Project preferred.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

Provide operational supervisory responsibility for New Connections & Developer Services projects.
Site-based visits to review progress and ensure standards are met.
Organise resources for schemes including plant, labour, materials and subcontractors.
Manage health and safety compliance on site with regular checks and briefings.
Deliver weekly site reports to management and the client.
Act as Health & Safety Representative, conducting inspections and investigations when needed.
