Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Water Agent to deliver infrastructure projects on the existing clean water network in the North West for United Utilities. The role is site-based in Worsley with responsibility for resources, safety, quality, and timely delivery.

You will plan, manage and supervise operations, coordinate with design, delivery and commercial teams, and report progress to management and client weekly. Strong utility sector background and H&S focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in utilities or water infrastructure projects.
• Experience in deep excavations and civils.
• Knowledge of street works and confined spaces.
• Health and safety qualifications advantageous.
• Awareness of costs and programme expectations.
• Strong team management and communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills; MS Project preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise New Connections & Developer Services projects on site.
• Site-based oversight; review progress and ensure standards.
• Organise resources (plant, labour, materials, subcontractors) cost-effectively.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures on site.
• Weekly site reporting to management and client.
• Act as Health & Safety representative; inspections and investigations.
