Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Water Agent to lead site delivery on United Utilities projects in the North West. You will supervise resources, coordinate teams and ensure safety, quality and schedule alignment with the client's expectations.

Based in Worsley, the role requires strong leadership, communication and practical experience in water infrastructure schemes and street works. A UK driving licence and a Health & Safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Utilities sector, ideally clean water.
• Experience in deep excavations, civils, drainage and structures.
• Experience in Street Works and Confined Spaces.
• Health & Safety qualification an advantage.
• Cost awareness and programme awareness.
• Strong team management and communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills; Microsoft Project preferred.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• We are looking for someone to have operational supervisory responsibility for New Connections & Developer Services projects and the daily activities that take place on site.
• Site based role with regular visits to local sites to review progress and ensure standards are met.
• Organise all resources for schemes, including plant, labour, materials and sub-contractors, cost-effectively.
• Manage compliance with Health and Safety procedures on site; conduct checks, briefings, audits and improvements.
• Provide weekly site reporting to management and client on progress and issues.
• Act as Health & Safety Representative, performing inspections and investigating incidents.
