Job summary

Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking a Water Operations Analyst to help operate our clean water network across South London. You’ll collaborate with Systems Optimisation Engineers and Leakage teams to maintain reliable supplies, manage pressure and respond to incidents on a fixed-term basis for up to 12 months.

The role requires a degree in engineering or science (advantageous), strong analytical and communication skills, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• A degree in a technical discipline such as engineering or science would be advantageous.
• Strong interest in hydraulic systems, water networks and clean water operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to interpret operational and performance data.

Responsibilities

• Investigate pressure issues, customer complaints and network alarms using data.
• Support planned network isolations and optimisation projects.
• Assist during unplanned events to minimise disruption to customers.
• Investigate longer-term network issues, including low pressure, low flows and resilience.
