Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Water Operations Analyst for a fixed-term contract in London. You will work with Systems Optimisation Engineers and Leakage teams to maintain reliable water supplies, manage pressure and resolve network issues.

Responsibilities include investigating pressure problems, supporting planned isolations, and assisting during emergencies to minimise customer disruption. A technical degree is advantageous, plus a UK driving licence is helpful for travel across the Thames Water

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret operational data.
• Interest in hydraulic systems, water networks and clean water operations.
• Good communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders.
• Proactive approach and willingness to develop a long-term career in water industry.

Responsibilities

• Investigate pressure issues, customer complaints and network alarms using data to understand problems and identify solutions.
• Support planned network isolations and optimisation projects.
• Assist during unplanned and emergency events to minimise disruption to customers.
• Help investigate longer-term network issues including low pressure, low flows and network resilience.
