Thames Water is recruiting a Network Operator to join the Water Control team, supporting a 24/7 service ensuring safe and reliable water from source to tap. You will monitor the system, respond to risks, and guide emergency work to prevent environmental damage.

The role involves shift patterns, including day and night hours, across a 6-week cycle, with weekends and built-in leave. Experience with SCADA/GIS is advantageous, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the water supply system to identify risks and implement timely solutions.

• Provide technical guidance during emergency work to maintain service continuity.
• Prioritise risks from emails, calls, and control room systems and escalate high-consequence issues.
