Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Water Operations Analyst to support the safe operation of our clean water network across South London. The role is office-based at South London, with standard hours, and a fixed-term contract up to 1 year.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or science is advantageous or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data interpretation.
• Good communication with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn and develop a long-term career in water operations.

Responsibilities

• Investigate pressure issues, customer complaints and network alarms using data to identify solutions.
• Support planned network isolations and optimisation projects.
• Assist during unplanned and emergency events to minimise disruption to customers.
• Investigate long-term network issues like low pressure, low flows and resilience.
• Ensure network activities follow operational and risk-management procedures.
