South Staffordshire Water, operating Cambridge Water and South Staffs Water, seeks a Network Controller in Cambridge to monitor and control the water distribution network. South Staffs Water supplies a population of nearly 1.3 million. The area of supply stretches from the edge of Ashbourne in the North, to Halesowen in the South, and from Burton-on-Trent in the East, to Kinver in the West.
As a Network Controller, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our water supply and distribution network. Working within our Customer Operations Hub, you'll monitor network performance in real time, respond to operational alarms and incidents, coordinate out-of-hours activities, and help maintain a reliable water service for our customers. You'll work closely with operational teams, duty managers and field-based colleagues to protect water quality, maintain security, and minimise interruptions to supply.
