Severn Trent Water is seeking a Network Controller for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will join a 7-week rotating shift pattern, averaging 37 hours per week in a 24/7 OCC, diagnosing network issues and planning to minimize customer impact.

The role involves real-time analysis, incident logging, and leadership during crises, with full training provided and opportunities for career progression within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in analysing data and using multiple IT systems.
• Excellent skills in influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Full training will be given, though experience in water network operations is a plus.
• Ideally, you'll have English & Maths GCSE Level 5 or above.

Our Network Control team has an exciting opportunity (on a 12 month Fixed Term contract) for you to become our new Network Controller. ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Network Controller, you'll be part of a dedicated team working on a 7-week rotating shift pattern, averaging 37 hours a week. Our 24/7 department ensures that we keep the water flowing around the clock, 365 days a year. Your shifts will include a mix of mornings, afternoons, nights, and some day shifts.

In this key technical role within the Operational Control Centre (OCC), you'll collaborate with fellow Network Controllers and report to the Network Control Lead. Your mission: diagnose issues on the water network and develop robust plans to minimize impacts on customers and our performance metrics.
