A well-established engineering company in Birmingham is seeking a Project Engineer specializing in water mist systems. In this role, you will manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and regulatory requirements. Ideal candidates have experience in project management within construction or fire protection, holding relevant qualifications and a valid SMSTS and CSCS card. Qualifications

• Valid SMSTS and CSCS card required.
• Experience producing project documentation, including RAMS, quality plans, project plans, CTC sheets and trackers.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager to deliver Water Mist projects on time and to budget.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage labour and material costs, including raising final accounts.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Proven experience managing projects ranging from £5k-£2m

Strong track record of managing on-site labour and resources

Knowledge of CDM regulations and management principles

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Education

Relevant qualification such as NVQ, HND, HNC or City & Guilds in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
