Job summary

Sweco UK Ltd is seeking a Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex water projects within the Anglian Water @one Alliance. You will ensure on-time, safe delivery and alignment with AMP8 targets, while managing costs and commercial expectations.

The role requires extensive water-industry experience, IOSH qualification, NEC Option C familiarity, and ability to drive collaboration with partners. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Extensive water-industry experience and understanding of health & safety and CDM.
• IOSH qualification and experience with NEC Option C contracts.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a performance-driven environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and decision-influence capabilities.
• Strategic thinking and delegation to empower teams; APMP desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop high-performing teams of engineers and commercial staff.
• Ensure CDM compliance, audits and peer reviews for zero-harm delivery.
• Translate programme strategy into actionable outcomes with proper resourcing.
• Manage projects from inception to handover and resolve issues.
• Oversee cost and resource forecasts and escalate key risks.
• Ensure safe, commercially viable and fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Maintain milestones and deliverables such as Project Rehearsal and Fit for Assembly.
• Drive collaboration across the @one Alliance and partners.
