Sweco UK Ltd is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team in the East of England. You will develop and review designs for potable water and wastewater projects, collaborating with hydraulic modelling teams to optimise networks and apply relevant standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil or infrastructure engineering design.
• Understanding of pipeline design, buried infrastructure and civil engineering principles.
• Knowledge of British Standards, Eurocodes and design guidance.
• Strong communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• A proactive and innovative mindset focused on sustainable engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering solutions for potable water and wastewater infrastructure projects from feasibility through detailed design.
• Produce and review designs for pipelines and related infrastructure including valves and pumping stations.
• Collaborate with hydraulic modelling teams to optimise network solutions.
• Apply design standards and CDM health & safety documentation.
• Provide technical guidance throughout project delivery, including construction phases.
• Support optioneering studies and design development activities.
• Champion digital technologies and sustainable design practices.
