Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager within a Water Hygiene / Water Treatment outfit.
• Able to confidently lead teams of site and office staff.
• Ideally will hold industry-related qualifications / training.
• Robust technical knowledge, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Proficient in using IT software.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing regional operations across Water Hygiene and Water Treatment contracts.
• Managing a team of engineers, ensuring works are completed within agreed scope and timeframes.
• Carrying out competency checks and training across all internal staff.
• Liaising with the administrative team to coordinate projects, ensure materials are ordered and assist with onboarding processes.
• Meeting with clients to discuss contractural performance and handle any enquiries.
• Ensuring effective planning and work allocation.
• Organising training for team members.
• Working closely with the quality / technical team to investigate and resolve any safety issues.
• Running regular company meetings.
• Maintaining strong working relationships with clients.
• Upselling of further company services.
• Completing regular technical service and progress reports.
